CERB TRAFO – Replacement of transformer bushings at Vidima Hydro Power Plant

CERB TRAFO replaced high, medium, and low-voltage transformer bushings of a Vidima Hydro Power Plant transformer with an output of 12,5 MVA and voltage of 110/21/6,3 kV. The replacement was performed on site at the premises of the HPP. The new porcelain bushings for outdoor installation meet all requirements related to its mechanical robustness, creepage distance, and electrical current amount (overheating). Their structure permits workers to deinstall and replace the insulators easily and quickly, without having to take out the internal part or lift the cover. After the installation we carried out testing of the transformer’s electrical parameters.
