Today, April 14, thirty students majoring in Electric Power Engineering and Equipment and Electric Vehicles from VTU “Todor Kableshkov” visited the CERB repair facility. The group was accompanied by Associate Professor Ilko Tarpov, PhD, Chief Assistant Professor Petko Kostadinov, PhD, and Assistant Professor Dilyana Mitseva.
Following a mandatory health and safety briefing, the students explored the operations of the company’s key departments.
In the Rotating Electrical Machines (REM) department, the future engineers were introduced to the technological stages of generator and motor repair. In the Transformer division, they observed transformer rehabilitation processes and attended live transformer testing.
A highlight for the students, particularly those specializing in Electric Vehicles, was the Vibro Health department. Experts presented modern vibration diagnostics and online monitoring systems. The group also examined a large-scale rotor, with Eng. Stoyanov providing a detailed explanation of its repair stages.
Throughout the tour, CERB specialists shared insights into ongoing projects and real-world technical cases, while the faculty members complemented the demonstrations with scientific analysis.
The visit concluded with a discussion on internship opportunities and career development, allowing students to ask direct questions to the production engineers and the HR team.
The CERB GROUP team extends its gratitude to the faculty and leadership of “Todor Kableshkov” University of Transport for the successful collaboration and the opportunity to support the practical training of the next generation of technical specialists and engineers.
