At the beginning of April, CERB GROUP held its traditional spring seminar, bringing together teams from the group’s companies and their partners for a discussion on the future of energy infrastructure. The program focused on real-world engineering experience and practical solutions in diagnostics, maintenance, and modernization within the sector.
The working sessions began with a detailed review of diagnostic processes in high-voltage and chemical laboratories, paying special attention to options for transformer repair, tap changers, and the implementation of retrofit solutions in substation construction.

The discussion continued with a focus on the connecting role between energy systems and the importance of precision equipment supply. Experts shared best practices in the maintenance of hydropower facilities, emphasizing the vital importance of engineering expertise for the accident-free operation of power plants.
A special highlight of the program was the “green wave” in energy and the role of photovoltaic systems in the overall energy landscape, presented by AmonRa Energy. The meeting demonstrated that for the successful integration of new technologies, it is crucial for industry professionals to speak the same language and share working practical solutions.
“We don’t just repair equipment; we implement solutions for the future of energy. This forum proves that the balance between traditional experience and innovation is the key to a stable energy infrastructure in Eastern Europe” , commented Eng. Stefka Mancheva, Manager of CCLab, part of CERB GROUP.

With a solid foundation dating back to 1948, today CERB GROUP is the largest energy structure in the Balkans, providing a closed cycle of services for the sector. From precise diagnostics and heavy repairs to innovations in energy storage, the group is a leading factor in the modernization and security of the energy grid across the entire region.
